DALLAS MinuteClinic has opened nine clinics inside CVS stores in Dallas-Fort Worth, the Dallas Business Journal reported.

The Minneapolis-based clinics, a subsidiary of CVS Caremark, are typically staffed with nurse practitioners and are able to treat routine skin conditions, give physicals for children, administer shots and conduct other common procedures, as well as diagnose and treat bladder infections, pink eye and allergies. Costs for most procedures range between $59 and $69, and the clinics accept insurance co-payments.

MinuteClinic expects to open an additional 11 locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area by year's end.
