LEMOYNE, Pa. — Characterized by a vibrant color scheme contrasted against a natural wood-grain backdrop, Rite Aid held a grand opening of its "next generation" Wellness store on Oct. 4. The store features many interactive shelving elements, including a touchscreen Axe display in the men's grooming section and a nail bar island at the front of the store. Other new features include a diabetic diagnostic center, a one-stop shop for diabetics and their caregivers; a Vision Center, an easy-to-use kiosk that allows customers to conveniently order glasses and contact lenses and try on new frames; a hair care aisle with hands-on displays where customers can see and feel items before purchase; and a grab-and-go cooler endcap, also toward the front of the store, stocked with milk, eggs and other fill-in trip items.
