A study conducted in mid-January by the Organic Trade Association shows U.S. families are increasingly embracing organic products when they shop. The study also showed increased trust in the U.S. Department of Agriculture Organic seal to properly label organic products.
It seems that when given the opportunity, more consumers choose organic food over conventionally produced food, according to the latest poll conducted by Thomson Reuters and NPR.
Organic product purchases among consumers have been fairly consistent over the past three years, but more shoppers are looking to mass retailers to purchase such items.
