This week, several companies including Maesa, The Personal Care Products Council and Henry Rose, among others have had a change in leadership.

Maesa taps Molly Kennedy to lead Kristin Ess Hair 

Maesa has named Molly Kennedy as the new vice president of marketing for Kristin Ess Hair, and other brands including Koze Place. 

Before joining Maesa, Kennedy spent 13 years at Unilever working with such brands as Dove Men+Care, including its global innovation and purpose of Championing Paternity Leave initiative. 

In addition, she also worked on the Courage is Beautiful and Crown Act programs. 

“I am very excited to welcome Molly to Maesa. Her experience in building purpose-driven brands will be instrumental in elevating our brands’ position within the industry and achieving further success with our consumers and retail partners alike,” said Piyush Jain, Maesa CEO.

L’Oréal’s David Greenberg joins Personal care Products Council’s board 

The Personal Care Products Council is welcoming a new board chair. 

David Greenberg, who served as the CEO of L’Oréal USA and president of the North America Zone since Feb. 2022, has been appointed to the role. 

“David is a visionary industry leader whose profound understanding of the beauty landscape and his commitment to innovation has driven substantial growth in every role he has held,” said PCPC president and CEO Tom Myers. “His transformative strategies, coupled with a strong focus on consumer-centricity and people development, have been instrumental in his leadership at L’Oréal USA. We are thrilled that in his new Board role he will help us continue to navigate the evolving market dynamics and advocate for the beauty and personal care sector.”

Greenberg has spent more than 30 years at L'Oréal in leadership roles across markets, divisions, brands and functions, including leading the L’Oréal Mexico Consumer Products Division, driving internal transformation as the senior vice president for Human Resources for L’Oréal USA.

Henry Rose names Laure de Metz its new CEO 

Henry Rose, the genderless fine fragrance brand founded by Michelle Pfeiffer, has named a new CEO.

Laure de Metz will be taking over the role to help further accelerate the brand’s momentum and build upon its foundation of driving greater awareness for ingredient transparency in fine fragrance. 

De Metz has held roles at YSL Parfums and Estee Lauder, and spent the last decade at LVHM, most recently as its general manager in the Americas for Benefit Cosmetics. 

“I am thrilled to join a fantastic team, savvy founder, and innovative business backed by one of the best strategic partners in the clean beauty space, Sandbridge Capital,” said de Metz. “Our vision is to bring ingredient transparency and safer products to fine fragrance consumers globally, and I look forward to building the future of beauty with Henry Rose.”
