Sundial Brands names chief operating, brand-building officer

Sundial Brands, the parent company of such brands as SheaMoisture, Nubian Heritage, Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture and nyakio, has announced an addition to its leadership team.

Kimberly Evans Paige, who was previously the chief marketing officer of Coty Consumer Beauty US, will be joining the Amityville, N.Y.-based company in the newly created role of chief operating and brand-building officer. She will report to founder, CEO and executive chairman Richelieu Dennis.

In this new role, Paige and Dennis will work with the executive team to craft and support the overall strategic direction of the company and develop a plan for continued growth. Both will work with the existing product portfolio, new and innovative products and line extensions to build the business in new channels, the company said.

She also will be responsible for operations, which includes the end-to-end supply chain, marketing, sales and continually assessing to build the organization and infrastructure for company growth.

Paige holds more than 20 years of brand, innovation and general management experience, with a proven track-record of building billion-dollar brands and business, the company said. Before joining Coty, she spent 17 years at Coca-Cola, where she led several businesses and drove brand loyalty for such brands as Sprite, Fanta, SmartWater and more.
