Tom’s of Maine rolls out new deodorant

KENNEBUNK, Maine Tom’s of Maine, a maker of natural personal care products, has announced the launch of its new 24-hour deodorant.

The product combines a natural, vegetable-based formula that is clinically proven to inhibit odor-causing bacteria and environmentally sensitive packaging made from singe-source plastic that can be recycled from canister to cap. The product has never been tested on animals.

The 100% natural deodorant stick, made entirely from renewable ingredients utilizes vegetable-derived propanediol as an alternative to a propylene-glycol deodorant base. Free of aluminum and parabens, the deodorant is free of artificial ingredients.

Furthermore, the packaging is fully recyclable and made from at least 40% recycled content.

Tom’s of Maine 24-Hour Long Lasting Deodorant is available in Mountain Spring and Beautiful Earth fragrances and will be in stores in August.
