STERLING, Ill. — Men’s grooming company Wahl recently announced the launch of three new shavers — the LifeProof Shaver, Speed Shave and Smart Shave. The three are designed to focus on such grooming fundamentals as speed, comfort, convenience, reliability and ease, the company said.
To support the shavers’ launch, Wahl has rolled out a national advertising campaign to run through the second quarter of 2017, which includes a TV spot, as well as radio and streaming ads.

Wahl has the staying power guys expect, and history of delivering on quality,” Wahl VP marketing, North American consumer division, Steven Yde said. “Meaningful innovation has guided the development of the new line of shavers along with our continued commitment to provide guys what they truly want — a fast, easy, close shave.”
Each of the new shavers contains the company’s most advanced battery, giving them a 90-minute runtime. They also feature a five-minute quick charge and a one-hour full charge. They feature advanced precision technology and offer a wet/dry shaving feature to make grooming possible anywhere. The shavers’ stainless steel shaving foils also feature an electronic travel lock to keep them from accidentally turning.
The Wahl LifeProof Shaver is designed to be virtually indestructible, the company said, noting that it is waterproof up to one meter and has rubber grips. It retails for the suggested price of $79.99. Wahl Speed Shave has precision blades for no-snag detailing and has a suggested retail price of $99.99. And the Wahl Smart Shave features an LED charge indicator, as well as an advanced foil cutting system and a precision ground trimmer for sharp edges and clean lines. Its suggested retail price is $109.99.
The shavers are now available through online retailers, select retailers nationwide and on Wahl’s website.
