Carol’s Daughter welcomes new additions to Monoi collection

Fans of Carol’s Daughter’s Monoi collection now have some new additions to add to their styling routines.

The new product additions, which contain Monoi oil and Tahitian gardenias, aim to repair, protect and moisturize tresses.

Other ingredients found in the products include coprah coconut oil and tiare flowers, which look to help revive hair so it looks healthy and radiant, the company said.

To help spread the word about the new products, the beauty brand also is teaming up with celebrity stylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew, who counts Kerry Washington, Yvonne Orji and Ashley Graham as clients.

New additions to the line include:

• Intense Repair Inner Strength System, which retails for $28, was made for those with damaged and brittle hair, and looks to help transform it from the inside out. In just one minute, the product targets the inner layers of the cuticle and repairs weak bonds;
• Repair + Protect Multi-Styling Milk, which is a reparative leave-in conditioner that also can be used as a heat protectant for styled looks. It retails for $22, and looks to help prevent split ends, while also strengthening and moisturizing for stronger hair with less breakage; and
• Repair + Moisture Star Strength Leave-In Cream, which looks to bring strength back to dehydrated and damaged curls. Retailing for $22, the product also helps condition and detangle hair, and features a formula that is easily absorbed into each curl for smoother and stronger hair.
