Lila joins popular canned rosé trend

Canned wine brand, Lila is jumping on the rosé trend by unveiling their latest innovation — Lila Bubbly Rosé.

Packaged in a chic can that can be taken to the park, pool, rooftop, BBQ and beyond, the beverage is gluten-free, low in calories and carbohydrates and contains no added sugar, the Boston-based company said.

“Canned wine is one of the most innovative wine trends today, and we're excited to add another great varietal to our Lila Wines portfolio,” Kevin Mehra, CEO of Latitude Beverage, said. “Lila Bubbly Rosé features the crisp freshness of a rosé and the light effervescence of a sparkling wine, making it the perfect pairing for any summer celebration. Lila has been one of our most beloved brands since launching two years ago, and we anticipate Bubbly Rosé will help the brand grow by 60-to-70% in 2018, exceeding last year's 55% growth.”

Bubbly rosé features a balance of strawberry and passion fruit notes, and a crisp finish, the company said. It also joins the company’s vast offerings, which includes an Italian sparkling wine, French rosé and Italian Pinot Grigio.

Lily Bubbly Rosé is now available for purchase in more than 40 states within the United States in four-packs of 8.4-oz. cans that retail for $11.99, in such retailers as Publix, Wegmans, HEB, Meijer, Harris Teeter and more.
