Mtn Dew brings back Baja Blast
Mtn Dew announced plans to bring back a blast from the past, but only for a limited time. The Purchase, N.Y.-based company is adding the Baja Blast beverage to its portfolio.
The tropical-lime beverage will be re-released in bottles and cans, beginning April 23, which marks the first time in two years consumers will be able to go out and purchase the beverage, the company said.
"Summer's most wanted flavor is back, and it's all thanks to the tireless efforts of Dew Nation," Chauncey Hamlett, senior director of marketing, Mtn Dew said. "We were overwhelmed by all of the love we saw on social media and other channels, so we worked hard to bring back Mtn Dew Baja Blast. We're always listening to Dew Nation and we're excited to give them exactly what they've been craving."
To celebrate the re-launch of Baja Blast, the company will be giving fans who use the hashtag #BringBajaBlastBack on social media the opportunity to appear in a video series to be shared on Mtn Dew’s social channels.
Mtn Dew’s Baja Blast will be available for purchase in 20-oz. bottles, 12 packs of 12-oz. cans and additional multipack sizes. Further information can be found on the brand's website and social media channels.
