Stop Bugging Me! addresses bed bug issues

MASHPEE, Mass. — Amid reports of a nationwide bed bug outbreak, a new pesticide-free solution has hit the market.


Stop Bugging Me!, a natural bed bug treatment designed for at-home and commercial use, can be sprayed directly onto any detergent-safe upholstery, including bedding, linens and clothing, killing bed bugs and their eggs. Stop Bugging Me! includes such natural, active ingredients as 2-phenethyl propionate (a natural insecticide), eugenol, sodium lauryl sulfate, geraniol and cinnamon oil with aromatic bark.


In line with its product launch, Rocasuba, the maker of Stop Bugging Me!, has rolled out a marketing campaign that includes a billboard in New York's Times Square, as well as a new website, StopBuggingMe.com, which features the latest bed bug research, a competitive product analysis, frequently asked questions and an online store.


Stop Bugging Me! is available in a 3-oz. travel-size spray for $7.99 and a 12-oz. spray for $19.99.


For commercial use, Stop Bugging Me! is available in the following sizes:




  • 32-oz. size for $14.75;




  • 64-oz. size for $26.25;




  • 128-oz. size for $46;




  • 5 gal. for $200; and




  • 55 gal. for $2,000.




Also available for at-home, commercial and industrial use is Stop Bugging Me!-MAX, a water-based insecticide that kills bed bugs and their eggs on contact and provides residual pest-killing power for up to three months. The nonflammable, nonaerosol and odor-free formula now is available in 32-oz., 1-gal., 5-gal. and 55-gal. sizes. Additionally, Rocasuba said it also is gearing up to launch Stop Bugging Me! laundry additive, naturally derived and formulated to safely and effectively kill bed bugs and dust mites in bedding and washable clothing.


Stop Bugging Me! products currently are available online and at CVS/pharmacy and Walgreens, with additional drug, mass and grocery retailers to be announced.
