The Compliance Team, a Medicare-approved national healthcare accreditation organization, has a reason to celebrate. For the fourth consecutive year, the company has received a new product award from Home Medical Equipment Business, a premiere media resource for Home Medical Equipment professionals.

The New Product Award honors outstanding product development achievements by Home Medical Equipment manufacturers and service providers. The Compliance Team’s 2020 New Product Award, in the Accreditation and Certification category, is for the Pharmacy Testing Certification program launched in early 2020. The award selection and recognition are decided by a panel of provider judges.

“We have always focused on the development of new and innovative programs to support providers,” said Sandy Canally, CEO and founder of The Compliance Team. “Our team recognizes that the business is always evolving. Our role is to be out in front delivering value-based programs that address new opportunities.”

The Pharmacy Testing Certification program provides pharmacies with the education and tools necessary to achieve certification for COVID-19 and other CLIA Waived tests. It offers pharmacies new revenue opportunities via Point-of-Care testing and Collect and Transfer testing. The certification assures customers, patients, payers, and employees that the pharmacy’s patient safety and testing quality has been validated by a nationally recognized third party.

“Winning this award for the fourth consecutive year is an honor and reflects our team’s commitment to pharmacies across the country that are dealing with the COVID-19 challenges,” said Steve Simmerman, The Compliance Team COO.

Program winners will be recognized in the November/December 2020 issues of HME Business and will receive an award for their achievement.
