As many as 70% of sufferers are looking for specific food product labels when shopping; specifically, sugar-free and low-sugar foods (6-in-10) and low-carb food and vitamins/supplements (5-in-10). SILVER SPRINGS, Md. – Federal regulators are lifting some restrictions on a diabetes drug that were placed two years ago after studies linked the drug to increased cardiovascular risk.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The American Diabetes Association on Tuesday announced that Walgreens has been named a National Strategic Partner of the American Diabetes Association, in recognition of its commitment to support the mission and the association's movement to Stop Diabetes.

AccentHealth collected data through an online survey conducted from Oct. 14 to 21. Participants responded via AccentHealth's national, online panel of network viewers, and the survey yielded 520 respondents who were at least 18 years of age, and either themselves or a household member have prediabetes, Type 1 diabetes or Type 2 diabetes.
