ESalon fights frizz, eases styling woes

There’s a new way to combat several hair styling woes.

Thanks to eSalon’s two new styling products, fighting frizz, keeping hair color vibrant and reducing drying time are now achievable.

Featuring formulas developed in-house by the El Segundo, Calif.-based company’s team of cosmetic chemists and stylists, the brand’s new launches include:

  • Velvet Primer, a frizz-fighting and smoothing balm designed to be used before heat styling or air drying, features a lightweight formula that contains Abyssinian oil. It hydrates and softens hair for a glossy and tangle-free finish; and
  • Triple Prep 3-in-1 Protectant reduces drying time in half and provides hair with shine. Containing allantoin and chamomile extract, its formula aims to strengthen and soften hair, while also shielding it from heat styling.

“With fall and winter approaching, hair is more prone to dryness, breakage and fading, leaving you with a less than shiny look. And, color-treated hair typically fades much faster when styling products aren’t color safe,” Leianna Hillo, eSalon’s lead hair colorist, said. “We’re excited to debut the latest and greatest in our hair care line to help our clients keep their hair healthy while styling! Used together or on their own, the color-safe Velvet Primer and Triple Prep protect and strengthen hair, while making any hairstyle sleek and shiny.”
