FDA acting commissioner to deliver keynote speech at AAM’s virtual conference

The Association for Accessible Medicines is welcoming FDA acting commissioner Janet Woodcock as keynote speaker for this year’s Access! 2020 annual conference, which takes place virtually May 26 to 27.

Woodcock will deliver the keynote on Wednesday, May 26 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Woodcock oversees the full breadth of the FDA portfolio, including assuring the safety, effectiveness and security of human (and veterinary) drugs, vaccines and other biological products.

With patient access to generic and biosimilar medicines a national priority, it is important to communicate the Department of Health and Human Service’s key initiatives for the generic and biosimilars industry, AAM said.
