Garnier Whole Blends to raise funds for UNICEF’s education programs

11/4/2019

Garnier is once again partnering with UNICEF in order to support educational programs for children who are living in emergency situations caused by conflict and natural disasters.

The company’s Whole Blends brand is partnering with its brand ambassador, actress Mandy Moore, on an initiative that invites the social community to comment a blue heart emoji on @GarnierUSA’s Instagram post featuring the Whole Blends UNICEF holiday kit.

From 10 a.m. EST to 10 p.m. EST, for each blue heart, the company will donate one dollar to UNICEF USA, up to $10,000. Mandy Moore will be lending her voice in support of the cause on her own Instagram channel, the company said.

In addition to the social media campaign, from now until Dec. 31, Garnier Whole Blends will offer three-holiday hair care kits that can be purchased at physical and digital Walmart stores. There also will be travel-sized kits consumers can purchase at Dollar General stores or on its website.

Each kit includes a full-sized shampoo, conditioner and the Whole Blends 10-in-1 Miracle Nectar Leave-In Treatment, and comes in the Repairing Honey Treasures, Smoothing Coconut Oil & Cocoa Butter, and Strengthening Ginger Recovery blends.

Throughout this time, one dollar from every purchased kit will be donated to UNICEF USA with a minimum guaranteed donation of $300,000.
