  • Creme of Nature adds coconut milk to its natural ingredients line

    Creme of Nature is releasing seven new styling products within its Certified Natural Coconut Milk Collection. The line which is infused with coconut oil is designed to moisturize and protect hair, provide nourishment from roots to ends and aid in detangling dry, lifeless curls, the company said.

  • Dog chews promoting clean teeth are on the rise

    Multipet’s Canine Clean line of dog chews are designed to assist with teething, help remove tartar and massage gums. The toys are infused with a choice of peppermint or spearmint, which helps freshen breath. Canine Clean products from the Moonachie, N.J.-based company also support many drug stores’ direction of promoting health and healthy choices for their customers.   

  • Kroger, Chase partner to offer mobile payments

    Kroger is teaming up with Chase Pay, the digital engagement wallet from JPMorgan Chase & Co., to offer mobile payments. The initiative will kick off in select retail markets and e-commerce programs in 2018.

    Kroger’s payment solutions are a part of the company’s “Restock Kroger Plan.” One of the key strategic drivers is to expand partnerships to create customer value, which includes Kroger forming alliances to accelerate digital and e-commerce platforms.

  • MAC brings VR-powered mirror to stores

    MAC Cosmetics is letting its shoppers swatch lipsticks and eye shadow in-store as easily as they can take a selfie. Through a partnership with augmented reality technology-provider ModiFace, the beauty brand recently launched the Virtual MACover — an AR-powered virtual try-on mirror — to its stores.

  • My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream debuts products containing Mochi Bits

    My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream, created with ice cream and traditional sweet rice mocha dough, has launched a new product to their collection. The new ice cream with mochi bits contains mocha dough nestled within ice cream.

    Since launching in 2017, the Los Angeles-based company has expanded distribution to more than 6,000 retail locations across the nation. Most of the brand’s products can be found in the freezer aisle, with the exception of the My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream Mochi Bars, which are located in the bakery section.  

  • Yoplait partners with Girl Scouts of the USA on new yogurt flavors

    Yoplait is teaming up with the Girl Scouts of the USA to bring flavors of their infamous cookies to a whole new range of consumers. The General Mills-owned company is launching three new yogurts that draw inspiration from the organization’s famous cookies.

    The new flavors — Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Thin Mints; Yoplait Whips! Girl Scouts Peanut Butter Chocolate; and Yoplait Original Girl Scouts Caramel Coconut will be available at retailers nationwide beginning in December. They also are new permanent, year-round additions to the company’s portfolio.

  • Phocus introduces a caffeinated sparkling water

    Clear/Cut Phocus has put its own spin on water. The Louisville Ky.,-based company is introducing a new sparkling water that contains caffeine, which is derived from green tea.

    Phocus sparkling waters were created as a natural alternative to sugary, calorie-laden sodas and energy drinks, the company said. Each product contains as much caffeine as an eight-ounce cup of coffee and is Kosher, vegan, non-dairy, non-GMO and gluten-free.

  • Walmart makes big push for same day in-store pickup service

    The discounter, which said 84% of Americans are still shopping for the holidays, is making a big push for its same day in-store pickup service. It’s made more items eligible for the service than ever before. Also, customers will be able to shop for qualifying items, notated with “Free Pickup Today,” online until 4 p.m. local time on Dec. 23. The items can be picked up in stores until 6 p.m. on Dec, 24.
