Meijer revealed its involvement in a wind energy center that contributes to the company’s renewable energy portfolio and marks significant progress in meeting its carbon reduction target.
Meijer is reflecting on how far it has come in serving customers some 60 years since the opening of a store in Grand Rapids, Mich., dubbed Thrifty Acres.
Through this partnership, the retailer aims to provide customers with cut, whole leaf and whole head lettuce varieties, as well as cut lettuce for all of its ready-to-eat salads across its six-state footprint.
The event gives local businesses across the retailer’s six-state footprint a chance to virtually showcase their offerings to Meijer buyers and procurement teams.
Shoppers in Michigan who use the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program can now use the payment method for Meijer’s home delivery and pickup shopping services.
