  • AG decks the card aisle with LCD-enhanced cards

    CLEVELAND — American Greetings is decking card aisles with its LCD-enhanced cards, preloaded with Christmas images or ready to be customized with favorite photos. The four designs feature full-color LCD displays and high-quality audio.

    American Greetings was the first to bring LCD technology to greeting cards last year. The patented innovation allows consumers to upload photos into a digital slideshow card. This year, the company has expanded its card selection.

  • Revamped EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone slated for spring debut

    GURNEE, Ill. — EcoTools once again is joining forces with actress Alicia Silverstone to introduce for the spring the revamped eco-conscious cosmetic bag and brush collection set dubbed EcoTools by Alicia Silverstone.

    The collection, which will launch April 2011, will feature three new additions and three revised sets. They will be available at Walmart, Target and Walgreens.

  • Joint Juice Easy Shot supplement to roll out in January

  • Kiss' new products enhance eyelashes, brows

    NEW YORK — Kiss is looking to simplify the application of false lashes with its new Kiss premium eyelashes with patent-pending application strings.

    The lashes, priced at $3.99, will launch in February and will be sold at Walgreens, CVS/pharmacy and Walmart.

    Also launching in February is the new Kiss duo collection for brows, which will be available at limited Walmart stores nationwide.

    For those who need to tame unruly brows, get a fuller look or add more definition, Kiss is launching a range of duo pencils for multifunctional use.

  • Celestial Seasonings to launch Twitter 'Tea Time' sessions

    BOULDER, Colo. — Celestial Seasonings is bringing its Sleepytime bear to life with weekly Twitter sessions called "Tea Time with Sleepytime Bear."

    Beginning Dec. 14, a different Celestial Seasonings tea will serve as "sponsor" for the weekly, hour-long Twitter "Tea Time" session, enabling online users to learn about the all-natural varieties of Celestial Seasonings tea, including herbal, green, white, red, chai and wellness. The sessions will take place every Tuesday at 1 p.m. MST.
