Catalina Marketing appoints new EVP, chief information officer

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A former Dell executive has stepped into a new role at a consumer-driven marketing leader.

Catalina Marketing said John Miles will serve as EVP and chief information officer and will be responsible for leading IT strategy, research and development and new product development. Prior to joining the company, Miles served as CIO for Dell's global commercial and consumer businesses.

Miles replaces Eric Williams, a 19-year company veteran.
