PLANO, Texas — Crossmark on Tuesday announced that it had brought on David Newman as the company’s new chief insights officer, effective Sept. 21. Newman was most recently VP customer marketing and sales strategy at Pharmavite.
“I believe in Crossmark’s vision and am thrilled to be joining the leadership team” said Newman, “as Chief Insights Officer working as a fully integrated member of the Executive team, I will immediately be able to help drive the strategy and value of the organization, and bring a new level of insights that will propel growth for Crossmark’s customers and clients.”
Before joining Pharmavite, Newman was with Pepsico for 16 years, where he eventually rose to be the company’s global VP customer insights and analytics in 2009.
“David’s outstanding track record in insights and analytics will be tremendously valuable as we deliver strategic thought leadership and solutions to our clients and customers” Crossmark CEO Steve Schuckenbrock said. “David will lead a strong team at Crossmark that delivers world class insights and plans designed to drive faster growth and greater efficiencies for both manufacturers and retailers. We have developed an insights-driven national planning process which connects macro strategies to micro execution. The foundation of this capability is a system we call Crossview, which is evolving to a new cloud-based approach. David’s experiences and leadership will enable us to further extend our leadership.”
