Diplomat hosts a ‘Keep Kids Safe and Healthy’ event
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Diplomat on Saturday hosted a ‘Keep Kids Safe and Healthy’ event at the specialty pharmacy's retail store.
The event helped promote Diplomat’s new children’s vitamin program. Parents or guardians of children ages 2 to 6 years were able to sign up to participate in the initiative and will be able to pick up a free bottle of children’s vitamins, once per month at Diplomat’s Grand Rapids location.
In addition to signing up for the vitamin program, representatives from the Michigan State Police were on hand to speak about children’s safety and make free EZ Child ID kits available. The EZ Child ID software records a child’s fingerprints, photo and voice. In the event that a child goes missing, this ID information can be vital to assisting law enforcement personnel in their recovery efforts.
Children were also able to take photos with a fire truck from the Grand Rapids Fire Department and talk to representatives about fire safety.
