GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. — Dollar General, in partnership with Coupons.com, on Thursday completed the successful rollout of its new DG Digital Coupons program to its more than 11,300 stores across the 40 states the retailer serves.

"The DG Digital Coupon program provides our customers with an easy-to-use and convenient platform to use digital coupons toward our everyday low prices, helping them get the products they need at prices they want," stated Todd Vasos, Dollar General COO. "Understanding our shopper is utilizing digital and online technology to help save money, the completion of this project not only demonstrates our ability to deliver everyday value and affordable options to our customers, but also our commitment to help our customers save time and money, every day."

To use the DG Digital Coupon Program, customers may sign up either online or in stores using a numeric identification number, which is typically their telephone number. After signing up, customers can select the most relevant coupons to be added to their profile and the discounts are then applied to a customer's purchase at checkout when they purchase eligible items from many of America's most popular brands and Dollar General's private brands.

"We are thrilled that Dollar General has chosen to work with Coupons.com," commented Steven Boal, president and CEO of Coupons.com. "Our technology will deliver Dollar General shoppers highly relevant coupons in ways that many of today's shoppers now want them - via their phones. The whole experience makes saving money easier than ever."
