Highlights from DSN’s 20th Industry Issues Summit
This year’s Drug Store News’ Industry Issues Summit, held Nov. 28 at New York City's Ziegfeld Ballroom, marked the 20th installment of the annual event. It brought together nearly 300 executives from retailers and manufacturers, all of whom heard from their colleagues in panels focused on key topics impacting the industry.
The event featured five panels, as well as a keynote speech from Scott Galloway, a professor at the New York University Stern School of Business and New York Times best-selling author.
“I really felt that this year’s Industry Issues Summit was the best yet,” said Eric Savitch, the brand director of Drug Store News and host of the summit. “Where else can our industry draw so many top officials, including many retailers, to discuss the key issues impacting our industry. I was just amazed at how much information was being shared by the panels and how much material was available for attendees to take back to their home offices and to share with their own colleagues.
