SPARTANSBURG, S.C. — J.M. Smith announced this week that it had acquired pharmacy workflow system maker Integra’s line of offerings and will manage them under the subsidiary Integra LTC Solutions. The company said that its acquisition of Integra would help it utilize best practices and explore long-term care pharmacy market opportunities.
“The long term care pharmacy market is strategically important to our organization, and several of our companies are committed to our role in providing excellent products and services to our long term care pharmacy customers,” said William Cobb, Chairman and CEO of J M Smith Corporation. “Integra is known for its offerings and customer service in this field, so they are a good fit for us.”
Among Integra’s offerings is its Logix business process automation software, the DocuTrack system, which automates fax, electronic and paper processing and DeliveryTrace, which helps pharmacy owners oversee delivery processes. Integra will stay operating as an open platform that can be integrated into other industry software, and will keep working on integration with other company’s like J.M Smith subsidiary QS1.
“QS1 has worked with Integra products for many years. They have attended our Customer Conference and worked with us to offer our mutual customers excellent products and support,” QS1 president Tammy Devine said. “We are looking forward to working with the newest member of J M Smith Corporation.”
