Marsh, O’Malia’s, American Heart Association ask customers to donate $1
INDIANAPOLIS All Marsh and O’Malia’s store locations will partner with the American Heart Association to GO RED during the month of May, the grocer announced Friday.
At the checkout lane, customers will be given the opportunity to receive a postcard for a $1.00 donation to the American Heart Association. The postcard can then be mailed to encourage everyone to join the fight against heart disease and stroke.
“Marsh Supermarkets is pleased to participate in this effort to raise awareness of heart disease and at the same time raise funds to benefit heart disease research,” stated Connie Gardner, Marsh senior director of community relations. “We encourage everyone to remember a woman they love by sending her this beautiful postcard that reminds her to take care of herself.”
The fund raising effort will continue through May 31.
