Mexican athlete's foot brand making its way across the border to U.S. Hispanic markets

5/31/2012

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. — MarcasUSA on Thursday announced the U.S. debut of Conazol, a leading over-the-counter athlete's foot treatment in Mexico.

The brand is expanding its U.S. distribution and can be found at such retailers as Walmart and Target in key U.S. Hispanic markets, such as Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas and Chicago, the company said.

"As the summer season gets into full swing and the incidence of athlete's foot reaches its peak, we are launching a TV campaign to promote Conazol's availability in the U.S. and support our retail partners," MarxasUSA CEO Richard Phillips said. According to Phillips, MarcasUSA will begin TV promotion in June on multiple Hispanic TV networks in eight markets across the U.S. Additionally, the company will kick off a sweepstakes promotion on Facebook.

Conazol contains miconazole Nnitrate 2% antifungal as its active ingredient and is manufactured in Mexico by Liomont Labs.
