Navarro to open in-store bank branch

MIAMI — Navarro Discount Pharmacy has partnered with Continental National Bank of Miami to open an in-store bank branch inside Navarro's Hialeah Gardens store — marking the first bank in Florida to open an in-store bank in a drug store format.

The mini-bank branch will include two teller windows, an ATM and one service desk where customers can speak with a bank representative. Extended hours will be available for an added convenience.

The new bank branch is under construction and will be open by early summer. Navarro Discount Pharmacy and Continental National Bank of Miami are looking to open in-store bank branches at other Navarro store locations.

"We value the opportunity to partner with Continental National Bank, which has an outstanding reputation in the Hispanic community and a successful track record with in-store bank branches," stated Steve Kaczynski, CEO of Navarro Discount Pharmacy, which currently has 28 store locations and three others under construction. "The added convenience of having a bank branch inside a drug store greatly enhances the customer's shopping experience, allows us to be more competitive and attracts new customers to Navarro as well."
