BELLEVUE, Wash. — Millennials — that much-discussed and often-debated generation currently in their late teens, 20s and early 30s — are proactively carving out their futures and making some very distinct life choices, according to new research by the Hartman Group.
The research, titled “Outlook on the Millennial Consumer 2014," touches on a number of important topics surrounding millenials, including health and wellness. The group defines wellness as an "evolution," according to the research. This age group also seeks new ways to avoid boredom, and to increase energy levels and decrease anxiety.
Additionally, 55% of millennials report that health and wellness translates into feeling good about themselves, while 47% take happiness into consideration when thinking about their health. For the complete report, which also addresses shopping, tech and communications and food service, click here.
