Prosperity Specialty Pharmacy receives accreditation for services

FAIRFAX, Va. Prosperity Specialty Pharmacy, a member of CARE Pharmacies, last week received accreditation status from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care for the services of pharmacy, home/durable medical equipment and medical supply provider.

The accreditation supports Prosperity Pharmacy’s focus, the company stated, in providing personalized pharmaceutical care for patients requiring complex treatments and customized prescription compounding.

Through Prosperity Pharmacy’s four locations, the specialty pharmacy helps patients with infertility issues, hepatitis C, HIV/AIDS, Crohns Disease, cancer and transplant patients. They also offer on-site individual injection teaching sessions and support services by a registered nurse.
