SOLA Snacks aims to raise the bar for nutrition bars

FRISCO, Texas -- A new entry in the savory snack category is aiming to "raise the bar" when it comes to nutrition bars.

SOLA Snacks are designed to respond to consumer cravings for new exciting tastes with nutritional value in a savory, wholesome meal bar. Sola Bars contain 1 – yes, just 1 – gram of sugar – about the lowest for nutrition bars, aaccording to the company.

Sola Bars  are good sources of fiber and protein, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, and soy-free.  Sola Bars are initiallly available in four varieties:

• 
  Chipotle. Smoky, complex and mildly spicy chipotle peppers join cilantro, thyme, mustard, and onion.


• 
  Jalapeno. Intense, hot jalapeno peppers are cooled down with rosemary, oregano, and anise seed.


• 
  Roasted Garlic with Sea Salt. Roasted garlic, onions, thyme, and sage with a pinch of sea salt.


• 
  Cinnamon. Spicy and lightly sweet cinnamon blends with tangy nutmeg, ginger, cloves and  cilantro.

Sola Bars are now available to consumers on the SOLA Snacks website and on Amazon.com.  Retail outlets and other distribution channels are being developed.
