Budweiser unveils Harvest Reserve Deep Golden Lager

There’s a new Budweiser in town.

Beer aficionados can now enjoy the brand’s new Harvest Reserve Deep Golden Lager, which is a limited-edition drink and was created in collaboration with farmers who have grown the barley used to brew the brand’s products for generations, the company said.

"At Budweiser, our farmers are family. While our relationship with many of these farmers goes back generations, Budweiser Harvest Reserve is the first time we've collaborated on a recipe together," said Ricardo Marques, VP of Marketing Core & Value Brands at Anheuser-Busch. "Releasing this beer for the harvest season is Budweiser's way of celebrating farmers after a year spent preparing for these precious few months."
Containing a 5.4% ABV, the Harvest Reserve is brewed with all-American barley for a bolder taste and crisp hoppy aroma for a smooth finish.

In addition, each bottle contains the signature of Jim Dixon, a fifth-generation Budweiser barley farmer who collaborated with brew masters on the recipe, the company said.

"My family has been growing barley with Budweiser for generations," said Jim Dixon, owner of Jim Dixon Farms from Idaho. "Working with Budweiser on the recipe for a new beer was already humbling, but when I found out they wanted to put my name on every bottle, I was surprised and incredibly honored."

The new Harvest Reserve will be available in Des Moines and Omaha throughout the harvest season while supplies last.
