Advil becomes first 'Champion for Life' sponsor for Arthritis Foundation
ATLANTA — The Arthritis Foundation on Wednesday named Advil, a Pfizer Consumer Healthcare product, as the organization's first "Champion for Life" sponsor. The support from makers of Advil will assist the Foundation in carrying out its mission to be a Champion of Yes for people living with arthritis.
"As we lead the fight for the arthritis community and search for ways to help those with arthritis conquer everyday battles, our relationships with organizations that align with our mission are extremely important," stated Ann Palmer, Arthritis Foundation president and CEO. "We greatly appreciate the contribution from Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and will put it to great use as we expand and strengthen our educational and interactive offerings so people with arthritis can live better than ever."
The Arthritis Foundation is introducing a number of new tools that will help more people with arthritis achieve their everyday Yes. Advil is the first brand to join the Foundation's highest Champion for Life sponsorship tier and will be the exclusive over-the-counter pain reliever in this tier.
