NuGo Nutrition introduces paleo, non-GMO egg white protein bars
NuGo Nutrition has announced the launch of its a new non-GMO product line, NuGo Egg White Protein Bars.
These non-dairy, whole food paleo bars are certified gluten-free and OU kosher pareve. NuGo starts with fruits and nuts, then adds three Non-GMO egg whites, resulting in 12 to 14 grams of protein per bar.
The bars are available in four flavors: Dark Chocolate Sea Salt, Maple Pecan, Blueberry, and Peanut Butter. They have 180 to 200 calories.
Last year, the company launched its Gluten-free NuGo Protein Cookies with pea protein and now makes 34 certified gluten-free products.
NuGo Nutrition noted that it is committed to using real dark chocolate versus palm kernel oil, which makes imitation chocolate have a waxy texture and too sweet taste.
