CLEVELAND — Procter and Gamble is teaming up with Cleveland Clinic to develop a treatment for heart disease that would be available over-the-counter, the Cincinatti Business Courier reports.
According to the Courier, the two are working together on a product that would help people manage the level of of a substance called TMAO that has been linked to higher risk of stroke, heart attack and dying. P&G said it might be too early to know when ti would hit the market.
