DENVER  — Mom and baby product maker UpSpring is showcasing two of its newest products here at the National Association of Chain Drug Stores Total Store Expo.

One of the products the company is highlighting is its supplement for breastfeeding moms, milkflow Fenugreek-Blessed Thistle. The drink is a blend of herbal extracts fenugreek and blessed thistle that’s gluten free and vegan. The company sells milkflow in boxes of 18 packets.

“Consumers weary of popping pills are moving to drinkable vitamins and supplements and we look forward to supporting busy, breastfeeding moms with this more convenient and tasty option to take fenugreek,” UpSpring co-founder and CEO Lisa Rowe said. “In addition to convenience, milkflowalso helps to keep mom hydrated which is vitally important while breastfeeding.”

Also being featured at NACDS TSE are UpSpring’s WellBaby vitamin D drops for infants, which retail at Walgreens. The drops contain vitamin D3 and natural coconut oil to ensure that baby’s can get vitamin D, which breast-fed babies and some formula-fed infants don’t get in sufficient amounts. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends 400 IU of vitamin D every day for infants.

“In most cases, breast milk provides just about everything a baby needs for the first four to six months with the exception of vitamin D,” Rowe said. “That is why we created an all-natural vitamin D drop for moms who want to ensure their baby is getting the AAP recommended vitamin.”
