SPRING HOUSE, Pa. — Bartell Drugs was recently recognized by accreditation organization The Compliance team for its services and medical equipment. All 64 of Bartell Drug’s stores were awarded The Compliance Team’s Community Pharmacy accreditation and its Exemplary Provider status for DMEPOS (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies). In addition, Bartell’s set in place fraud and abuse awareness safeguards as well as a corporate quality improvement program. They also had to upload satisfaction reports to TCT’s database, which benchmarks the chain against its peers.
“We are honored to have the nation’s oldest family-owned pharmacy chain become part of The Compliance Team’s League of Exemplary Providers,” Billy Chow, Bartell Drugs’ VP pharmacy operations and clinical services said. “We commend all of our staff for their dedication and daily efforts to provide quality patient care.”
