CARE Pharmacies, CSPN ink management services provider agreement

ALEXANDRIA, Va. The independent pharmacy franchisor CARE Pharmacies has reached an agreement with Community Specialty Pharmacy Network to provide management services for its group of 107 specialty community pharmacies.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to work with this unique group of independent specialty community pharmacies,” stated Gerry Crocker, CARE’s chief executive officer. “CARE will be providing administrative support, network management, corporate communications, and marketing support.”

This agreement will allow CSPN to begin to execute its recently signed pilot program with Bayer for the multiple sclerosis drug Betaseron.

CARE operated over 60 pharmacies nationwide.
