Crookshank appointed Mylan president of investor relations

PITTSBURGH Mylan has appointed Dan Crookshank as its vice president of investor relations and as a member of the board, the company announced Monday.

Crookshank will report to chief financial officer Edward Borkowski and will be responsible for promoting Mylan to and communicating with investors.

He previously served as vice president of investor relations for Rockwell Collins, a Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based company that manufactures communication and aviation electronics. He served at that company in various finance-related positions for 18 years. He also worked for National Steel Corporation and H.J. Heinz.

“Dan has a well-deserved reputation as an outstanding, senior investor relations professional,” Mylan Vice Chairman and chief executive officer Robert Coury said. “His extensive international experience together with his comprehensive knowledge of finance and solid accounting background will serve the company well going forward.”
