DIA announces 45th annual meeting in San Diego
HORSHAM, Pa. Attendees will have a choice of 350 sessions and 34 pre-conference tutorials to choose from when the Drug Information Association has its 45th annual meeting in San Diego.
The meeting, focused on issues affecting drug discovery and development, will include “hot topic” sessions on subjects such as accelerated drug development time, clinical safety and pharmacovigilance, global clinical trials and pediatrics. Global drug development will also be a key focus, with sessions on issues affecting regions of the world such as Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and emerging markets.
“The global aspect brings together the top regulators, academics, patient groups and industry professionals from different parts of the world,” program committee member and Wyeth VP clinical research and development for the Asia-Pacific region Ling Su said. “The annual meeting provides a forum where they can share their experiences, perspectives and thinking on global drug development.”
The meeting will take place June 21 to 25.
