Fresenius Kabi launches generic Vazculep
Fresenius Kabi is offering phenylephrine hydrochloride injection.
The product is the generic of Avadel Pharmaceuticals’ Vazculep.
Fresenius Kabi's product is available in 1-ml, single-dose vials, as well as in 5-ml, and 10-ml pharmacy bulk packages.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride is an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor agonist indicated for increasing blood pressure in adults with clinically important hypotension resulting primarily from vasodilation, in such settings as septic shock or anesthesia.
