Genesis Pharmaceuticals Enterprises undergoes a name change

LAIYANG, China A U.S. drug maker with most of its operations in China has undergone a name change.

Genesis Pharmaceuticals Enterprises announced Thursday that it had changed its name to Jiangbo Pharmaceuticals. Laiyang Jiangbo Pharmaceutical Co., a subsidiary in China, markets the company’s products throughout the country under the brand name Jiangbo. The subsidiary is in Laiyang, Shandong province, on China’s eastern coast.

“We support Jiangbo with the idea that ‘We aim high; we aim wide,” Jiangbo CEO Cao Wubo said. “It is part of our corporate culture to provide our customers with products that will help them lead happy and healthy lives.”
