Healthcare providers to help W. Va. diabetes patients
CHARLESTON, W. Va. More than 234,000 residents of West Virginia have diabetes, and local healthcare providers from numerous fields will try to find ways they can help.
According to published reports, a forum of pharmacists, nurses, doctors, dentists and dietitians from around the state will meet in Charleston, W.Va., for three days later this month to discuss topic such as bariatric surgery, gestational diabetes and foot care.
The forum will take place at the Embassy Suites in Charleston from Oct. 28 to Oct. 30.
