Humana’s military services division receives two URAC accreditations
LOUISVILLE, Ky. Humana’s military services division announced Monday that it had received two re-accreditations from a Washington health-care accrediting organization.
Humana Military Healthcare Services received the second re-accreditation for Health Utilization Management and the first for Health Network from URAC, which establishes quality standards for the industry. It first received accreditation for Health Utilization Management in 1999 and Health Network in 2005.
“We applaud Humana Military on achieving URAC Health Network and Health Utilization Management re-accreditation, URAC president and chief executive officer Alan Spielman said. “In today’s health-care market, URAC accreditation provides a mark of distinction for organizations to demonstrate their commitment to quality health care.”
