National Health Systems renamed National Health Coalition

4/3/2017

FORT WORTH, Texas — National Health Systems, the holding company for PDX, Rx.com Community Healthcare Network and NHIN, announced Monday that it has a new name, National Health Coalition, as part of its transition from an S corporation to a C corporation.

The National Health Coalition is a group of pharmacy-based retail healthcare facilities that share their patients’ healthcare data with retail healthcare facilities and other providers. The standardized, portable healthcare data is used by all participants to allow patients to quickly and easily move their healthcare data where it’s needed.

The company said that its website would be patient-centric, allowing patients to determine which providers can access and add to their HIPAA-compliant Electronic Patient Outcomes Record.
