PDL BioPharma appoints VP finance, principle accounting officer

INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. A company that describes itself as a pioneer in the creation of monoclonal antibodies for use in humans has appointed a new vice president.

PDL BioPharma announced Wednesday the appointment of Karen Wilson as VP finance and principle accounting officer.

“We are pleased to have Karen join our team,” PDL BioPharma president and CEO John McLaughlin said. “She brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience to PDL with specific expertise with life science companies.”

Wilson served as principal at the consulting firm Wilson Crisler, from 2005 to this year, and as CFO of ViroLogic – now called Monogram Biosciences – from 2001 to 2004.
