MAPLE GROVE, Minn. — Upsher-Smith Laboratoreis’ Rusty Field has a new job. The company announced Monday that Field, who has served as its chief commercial officer since 2014, had been named president. In his new position, Field will oversee revenue delivery and profitability, working in line with the company’s growth objectives, and report directly to will Upsher-Smith CEO Mark Evenstad.
“During his tenure at Upsher-Smith, Rusty has proven himself to be an effective and innovative leader," Evenstad said. “I am confident that he has the skills, vision and values needed to fuel the company's growth, to deliver on current business objectives, and to lay the ground work for future success in a manner consistent with our company's vision, mission and values.”
Before joining Upsher-Smith, Field worked with United Healthcare for five years, developing its channels and overseeing distribution strategy. He spent 20 years at Ameriprise Financial before joining United Healthcare.
