Punita Lal joins Lupin's board

Lupin is welcoming Punita Lal as an additional director (non-executive, independent) to its board of directors.

Lal has a distinguished career spanning over 35 years in strategy, marketing and leadership across Asia, encompassing various geographies and industries. She has held senior positions at Coca-Cola in China and PepsiCo in India. She served as managing director and CEO of NourishCo, a joint venture between Tata Global Beverages and PepsiCo.

Following her executive tenure, Lal focused on consulting for SMEs, playing a significant role in fostering innovation. She also is a qualified leadership coach.

Lal has served on the boards of DBS Bank, Carlsberg A.S., Cipla, CEAT and Entertainment Networks India. She has been recognized among India’s top 20 businesswomen by Business Today in 2006, and Corporate Woman of the Year by FICCI Women’s OrganiZation in 2009.

Lal’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata.
