More than 600 products will be featured in Target's new men's grooming selection from such brands as Harry’s, Beardbrand, BYRD, Cremo, Maestro’s Classic, Pacinos and more.
Target's Drive Up will be available in 270 stores, and a service that provides two hour delivery from select urban stores is to launch in 60 locations within five major cities.
Target will be adding Coloured Raine, EveryHue Beauty, Haley’s Beauty, Hue Noir, The Lip Bar, Makeup Geek, Reina Rebelde and Violet Voss to its beauty aisle.
At the recent DSN Industry Issues Summit in New York City retail executives confirmed that retailers must take action on many different fronts if they want to remain relevant and ultimately be successful.
Part of the expansion will include the “Drive Up,” service, which allows shoppers to have their online orders brought out to their cars by a store associate within a couple minutes after arriving at the store.
The retailer's sales rose 10.0% to $22.8 billion from $20.7 billion last year, and investments in employees increased its expenses, denting profit margins.
The retailer remodeled some 110 locations last year and is planning on tripling that number in 2018, with plans to complete about 325 additional remodels.
