Tylenol intros Proactive Support to aid in joint comfort, mobility
Kenvue, the maker of Tylenol, is launching a new supplement formulated to help support joint comfort and mobility.
Proactive Support is powered by a TamaFlex blend of turmeric and tamarind, and was also developed with feedback from healthcare professionals to meet a need for drug-free joint support, the company said.
"As the #1 selling pain relief brand in the U.S. with more than 60 years of experience, we are proud to use our heritage to offer science-backed, proactive options to improve joint health and further our mission to Care Without Limits" said Jen Gow, head of U.S. Pain at Kenvue. "This launch expands the Tylenol brand into the supplement space and provides consumers an offering to build a more complete toolkit for wellness."

Currently, available in two formulas—Muscle & Joint and Muscle & Joint + Stress—neither contains acetaminophen, the company said.
The Muscle & Joint formulation features cucumber extract for joint comfort, while the Muscle & Joint + Stress contains sceletium extract to promote calmness and aid in managing occasional stress.
To spread the word of Proactive Support, Tylenol is teaming up with actor Molly Shannon, as well as lifestyle creators, to share their experiences with the product across social channels.
